The Saint Martin’s Chancel Choir, under the direction of Sandra Tittle, seeks to glorify God by offering a variety of worship music in the classical and choral tradition. The choir participates in the Eucharistic services of the church, mainly in the 10 a.m. gathering each Sunday from September through May. The choir also supports holy day services, including Christmas Eve, Advent Lessons and Carols, Ash Wednesday and Holy Week services, and an occasional community evensong.
As an all volunteer group, membership in the choir is open without audition to all who enjoy singing and are eager to work together, forming a sense of community both musically and spiritually. Our choir is a hard-working, caring, and fun-loving bunch of people. Our mission is always to bring people closer to God through music.
New members are always welcome in all sections: soprano, alto, tenor and bass. With so many new beginnings, this year is an especially great time to become a member of this group. Please, direct questions to Sandy at firstname.lastname@example.org or simply join us on Thursdays at 7:30!
