WORSHIP NOTICES FOR JANUARY: 8 am Service

No 8 am Sunday service of Holy Eucharist will be offered on 25 Dec or 1 Jan. On those Sundays only the 10 am service will be offered. The 8 am Holy Eucharist will resume on Sunday 8 January. No 8 am Sunday service will be offered on 22 Jan (bishop’s visit) or 29 Jan 2023, the Sunday of the Annual Parish Meeting, when one service will be celebrated at 10 am, followed by the Annual Meeting. Thereafter, the 8 am service will resume on Sunday 29 January.

Bishop’s Visit

We welcome The Right Reverend Mark Hollingsworth, Jr. to our parish on Sunday, 22 January, 2023, to preach and celebrate. No 8 am service will be offered that day. Bishop Hollingsworth will meet and greet communicants at Coffee Hour and meet with the Vestry as part of his episcopal visit. This will most likely be his last visit to Saint Martin’s Church as our bishop. He is retiring in 2023.

Ash Wednesday

A service of the Imposition of Ashes and Holy Eucharist will be offered on 22 February 2023 at 7 pm. All are welcome.

Holy Week Services

On Maundy Thursday, 6 April 2023, we offer a service of Holy Eucharist and the Stripping of the Altar at 7 pm

On Good Friday, 7 April 2023, we offer a Good Friday liturgy entitled Blues and Lamentations, led by Jennifer Cochran and Gateway Band, a jazz musical event with readings of scripture and poetry
