WELCOME Worship in Word & Sacrament
Holy Eucharist is our communion in Christ. Since our founding in 1953, worship in Word and Sacrament has expressed who we are as Saint Martin’s Church, Chagrin Falls. Today the celebration of Holy Eucharist is at the heart of our spiritual ministry. Music, choral and congregational, is vital to our principal Sunday worship, made vibrant by our Miles Park/Saint Martin’s organ and other beautiful instruments, including flute, violin, harp, voice solos and ensembles. Our Altar Guild supports our sacramental worship.
Holy Baptism of children and adults is our spiritual practice, re-welcoming each of us into God’s life. Confirmation & Reception strengthen the ties that bind. We rejoice to welcome youth and adults into a deeper life of commitment.
The Pastoral Offices of the church are always available. The Celebration & Blessing of a Marriage is offered to those seeking to make vows of Christian union. The Celebration of Life in the Burial Liturgy is offered with pastoral grace to the families of our faithful members. Our Columbarium, now in place, enhances this ministry.
Engaging Our World in the New Millennium
We are finding new ways to do Outreach & Mission, to expand our horizons of concern and to engage in God’s constant reach into the world. Included in recent initiatives are our SOAP ministries of engagement against Human Trafficking, mission to disaster areas, volunteering in giving programs such as MedWish, the Trinity Cathedral Feeding Outreach, CROP Walk, the Bainbridge Food Bank and others. We partner with our brother and sister churches and with our diocese.
Christian Formation is offered in forms as diverse as Women’s Christ Care Journeying group, the Wednesday Men’s Bible Study, Sunday morning Midhour Forum, and special teaching series in the Fall and Lenten seasons. First Communion classes and Confirmation classes, as well as Inquirers’ Classes are open. Sunday morning Church School happens during the school year for children and youth.
Pastoral Care & Wellness ministries are extended to our community by clergy and laity, including hospital, rehab and home Eucharistic Ministry. Our parish Communications include a website, Facebook page, the quarterly newsletter The Beacon, a weekly service leaflet, kiosks and posters, and email blasts.

Our Vestry leads us, in collaboration with our clergy and staff, not only in Outreach but also through Parish Life to facilitate our social fellowship and fun events, including Coffee Hour, Annual Picnic, Rally Day, Annual Meeting, and special activities of the year. Congregational Development is a clergy-vestry group supporting our growth and expansion.
